Bingo has a long history, originating as an Italian lottery game in the 1530's and evolving, as it's popularily spread, through Europe and the Americas to become the Bingo loved by players today.

75 Ball Bingo is similar to 90 Ball bingo with some differences. There are only 75 balls and the ticket has 5 x 5 squares. To win you need to fill a certain pattern first (called Pattern Bingo). In Bingo there are generally 3 prizes to win – 1 line, 2 lines and Full House or Bingo on each card or ticket. The player first to have all the numbers called displayed in a horizontal line on their ticket wins the 1 line prize. To win the 2 lines prize, you must have all the numbers called on 2 lines of the same ticket. To claim the house or bingo prize you must have all the numbered squares called on a ticket. The game ends when a player has claimed the House or Bingo prize, or when all 90 (or 75) numbers have been called. Some games offer consolation prizes too - awarded to a randomly selected loser at the end of a game.
Bingo Progressive Jackpot games offer extra guaranteed prizes that you'll win if you call 'House' by the call number specified at the start of the game (eg a full house by call 43, so if you make it by call 40 you win both the House prize and the Jackpot pool. If you call House by call 45, however, you just win the House prize and the Jacpot accumulates for the next Progressive Jackpot Bingo game. Some of these jackpots are regularly over £5,000 with recent payouts at the bingo sites above of over £50,000!
